I am dedicating this journey to all the Veterans who have served our country. I am also dedicating it to the special folks at K9's For Warriors who have provided another chance for veterans who have sacrificed so dearly. My hope is to deliver the names of veterans given to me by friends and family to the alter of the Apostle Saint James at the end of the pilgrimage in Santiago de Compostela. Going back to Spain and the Camino de Santiago one more time in celebration of my 75th birth year. I hope to walk all 500 miles of the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela. I invite you all to join me on this journey, and I will do my best to use this blog to keep everyone up to date. I will depart for Spain on April 21 and have given myself 43 days to make the 500 mile journey. Since this is my last Camino journey, I am calling it " The Last Patrol " i n honor of all my brother and sister veterans, as well as those wonderful staff and warriors at "K9's For Warriors" here in Northeast Florida.
